Liverpool Band Ukebox Release New Single ‘Stay In Your Lane’

Released on 1 February, ‘Stay In Your Lane’ is the latest single from Liverpool band Ukebox. Outwardly feel-good, ‘Stay In Your Lane’ carries with it a big message about staying true to yourself, and not being too influenced by social media supposed role models. ‘Stay In Your Lane’ is available to stream and download on all major digital platforms.

Ukebox is an all male band, comprise five members, who perform all their songs using a range of different ukuleles and effects. Ukebox are known for putting a unique spin using cleverly constructed arrangements of classic and contemporary music, including a medley of Beatles songs, and a ukulele and kazoo rendition of ‘Uptown Funk‘. In addition to their covers, they also released three original tracks last year, which were praised and supported by DJs from BBC Introducing North West. They’ve also found a champion in Dave Monks, of BBC Radio Merseyside, who has featured Ukebox a number of times, and given them a platform upon which to showcase their uniqueness.
Ukebox take their inspiration from a wide range of musical artists, including Beyoncé, Mumford And Sons, and fellow Liverpudlians, The Beatles. A video of them performing their Beatles medley, currently has over 400,000 YouTube streams:
Ukebox started in 2012 as a group of university students, and their ambitions have seen them become a world-renowned and much loved band, having performed not only in many of Liverpool’s most popular venues, but also across six continents and more than 60 countries, including festival performances in Australia and New Zealand, and tours in China.
