Fairwood Brothers ft. Tukar Garaj and The Young Fairwoods – ‘(Theme From) East Plains: Get Out!’ [Patumwa Mix]

‘(Theme From) East Plains: Get Out!’ is a musical collaboration of the Fairwood Brothers, Tukar Garaj and The Young Fairwoods. It’s fun, it’s funky, and it’s crazy ride that’ll have you holding onto your seat.

The Fairwood Brothers are Rusty and Clark, a duo like no other. Rusty, the elder of the pair, is right-handed, but plays guitar left-handed, and bass guitar right-handed. He is 5’10” with multi-colored hair and green eyes, and his favourite colour is anything, apart from plaid. He’s also a “pescetarian” and prefers the local catch under Lacasha Falls, while his favourite record is ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ by The Beatles.

Clark is left-handed, but plays guitar right-handed. His favourite guitar is the Clarquoise Gretsch which was made especially for him. Clark is 5’9” and has black hair and hazel eyes. His favorite colour is, naturally, Clarquoise.

Clark’s favourite meal is stewed beef and baked potatoes, and on ‘East Plains’ he can often be seen (but not on-screen) enjoying his fave candy – Clark® Bar.

Clark’s favourite song is the timeless gospel classic, ‘What a Friend We Have in Jesus’.

The video for ‘(Theme From East Plains: Get Out!’ takes us on a colossal mind-trip, and is the theme for their forthcoming movie of the same name, which is set for release this summer. There’s a television show in the works for later on this year. The song is a musical collab between the Fairwood Brothers, Tukar Garaj, and The Young Fairwoods, and it comes with a beautifully coloured music video. The song takes in elements of hip hop, rock, pop, country, you name it, and it feels like a blend of Beck, Flight Of The Conchords, and maybe The Mighty Boosh. Words aren’t enough to describe this further. Just watch and listen. Oh and strap yourself in before you do.
