Australian Artist musicsleepsinvanity To Release New Single ‘Making Waves’

Based in Melbourne, Australia, musicsleepsinvanity is a music project by artist Peter Gilbert. His latest single, ‘Making Waves’, is set for release on 18 December, and will be available on all major platforms.

The pop/alternative track examines the things life throws at you, and about pushing through and overcoming them. Although containing a serious message, the track is upbeat and catchy, and overall it sets out to remind people that we continue to have choices in life, no matter how hard it might seem during the times we’re struggling.
Peter Gilbert grew up in Queensland, and has been playing musical instruments since he was seven years old. He’s managed to travel around Australia, paying his way by busking, in order to cover his fuel and accommodation expenses. Under his pseudonym of musicsleepsinvanity, he is inspired by pop, emo, and alternative music, and takes his influence from artists as diverse as Bring Me The Horizon, and Flume.
