Yarden Raz Releases Empowering New Single, ‘My Wolves & I’

Out today, ‘My Wolves & I’ is the latest track from Yarden Raz, an Australian electro pop artist.

The single, with a super-catchy chorus, is a punchy, upbeat take on electro pop, combining Yarden’s deep lush vocals, with trumpets and synth sounds. The groovy beat gets you up and dancing, and the overall result is a sound which reminds us of Dua Lipa, and fellow Australian, Sia.

Speaking about the track, the 24 year old singer from Melbourne says her inspiration came from her passion to eliminate social injustice. She says,
“In a world where too many of us, who feel different, fall as a victim to injustice and inferiority, we need to stand together and fight for our freedom to live a fearless life.”

The wolves in the song are figurative, rather than a literal pack of wolves, a metaphor to represent women coming together to create change. Yarden Raz hopes the message will make more people feel strong enough to stand up for themselves and what they believe in.
Raz says the lyrics came to her in twenty minutes, and described the songwriting process as a river of melodic lines, flowing to her.
Yarden Raz has always had an interest in music from an early age, but it wasn’t until she finished secondary school that her career really took off. Her soon to be released single, ‘Love In My Veins’, has been chosen to feature on Australian drama series, ‘Counter Play’, which will be available to view worldwide via Amazon TV.
‘My Wolves & I’ is available to stream and download now on all digital media, including Spotify and SoundCloud. You can find out more about Yarden Raz online on her Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, official website, YouTube, and official website.
