Sam Dickinson’s First of Three EPs ‘From The Glass House: Part One’ Drops This Week

After spending a few years away from releasing music, Sam Dickinson returns with a three part EP series. ‘From The Glass House: Part One’ incorporates disco, dance as well as an acoustic track showing Sam Dickinson’s wide range of talent. It is released on Friday 16th November.

This three part series is the first release from Sam since the success of 2014’s ‘When You Left Me’, which received airplay from BBC Radio 2 and New York City’s SiriusXM. While he took some time off, Sam’s passion for music was still present in his weekly radio show on Pride Radio as well as his performances at Pride Festivals across the UK.

Like a lot of musicians starting out, Sam struggled to fund this new three part series so he completed a Pledge Music campaign to help raise money to be able to release ‘From The Glass House: Part One’.

The first single to be released was ‘Wild Sun’. Following a relationship break-up, it reveals a story of self-empowerment and release from certain restraints of the relationship. Blending disco style beats and voice echoing helps portray this feeling release and following your instincts.

Despite it being Winter now, this song has a real summer feel to it, allowing the audience to remember those warm summer months. The video incorporates vibrant coloured silhouetted figures of Sam and his band adding to this summer feel.

‘From The Glass House: Part One’ incorporates a disco heavy track ‘Hanging by a Thread’ as well as mixing it up with an acoustic version of ‘All We Are’. This range is really exciting and we can’t wait to hear what the other two parts have to offer also!
