Rising Pop Star L Devine Shines With Immense Relatability And Vulnerability In Her New Mixtape ‘Peer Pressure’

Following the success of recent tracks ‘Peer Pressure’ and ‘Nervous’, L Devine is set to capture listeners with her brand of personality-rich, melodically-inclined, futuristic pop.

The six-track offering and accompanying 9-minute short film, directed by ‘Growing Pains’ collaborator Emil Nava (Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris) and filmed in Los Angeles, explores themes of isolation and symbolises the singer’s feelings and experiences navigating through existential crises, toxic relationships and anxiety whilst still being a young person who goes to parties, and has fun, makes music and falls in love.

Discovering her love for music as a teenager and immersing herself in her passion completely, she came to attention with her very visual debut EP ‘Growing Pains’ released exactly a year ago in November 2017.

A songwriter loaded with edgy attitude rooted in reality, L Devine writes from life experiences and the world she sees around her, ‘Peer Pressure’ – the singer’s second EP- Is no exception as it takes her love of pop in interesting and exciting new directions.
