Dree Mon Says She’s Going To ‘Dance Like I Want To’ With New Single And Iwil Remix

‘Dance Like I Want To’, by LA based artist Dree Mon, is a funky yet modern song, co-written by Dree, Duddy Brown, and Josh Collopy, who also produced the track.

Described as a dancier Haim, a female Jamiroquai, and clearly a lover of Donna Summer, Dree celebrates disco in a video directed by Kristine May. The visuals pay homage to the likes of The Bee Gees, Saturday Night Fever, and West Side Story, with choreography by Saleemah Knight, known for her work with The Lion King, Chris Brown, and Beyoncé. Dree is no slouch herself when it comes to her moves – she’s a former professional dancer.

The track has also been given a remix treatment, changing up the disco vibe and giving it a more contemporary sound. You can check it out here.
