Australian Artist James Sun Releases Latest Single ‘Drunk On You’

Australian artist James Sun has just released his new single, ‘Drunk On You’. The upbeat electronic single is a blend of acoustic pop melodies and vocals, which he’s used electronic dance production, resulting in a unique sounding style.

The artist became interested in music from a young age, and taught himself to play guitar, later, inspired by Ed Sheeran’s YouTube performances, he started practising his vocals.

Released on 23 November, James’ single, ‘Drunk On You’ tells a tale of a relationship where infatuation has blinded the protagonist as to how unhealthy it is. Lyrics such as:
“cause all of the time you were drunk over wine I was drunk on you”
…illustrate just how difficult it is to escape from an abusive relationship, due to emotional ties, and having to gather up the strength to be able to walk away, when you realise just how much you were being used.
James Sun has already amassed more than 10,000 monthly listeners on his Spotify channel, a considerable number considering the early stage of his career.
‘Drunk On You’ is available to stream and download on all digital media. Check James Sun out on Spotify, Instagram, and Facebook.
