MANDY Starring Nicolas Cage // Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Download // October 29

‘Mandy’, starring Nicolas Cage and Andrea Riseborough, and directed by Panos Cosmatos, is out on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Download and Limited-Edition VHS Blu-Ray on October 29.

The highly anticipated, edge-of-your-seat action horror ‘Mandy’ was co-produced by Elijah Wood, and is one of the final films scored by Academy Award®-nominated composer Jóhann Jóhannsson, best known for his work on ‘Sicario’, and ‘The Theory of Everything’.

Set in the Pacific Northwest in 1983, outsiders Red Miller (Nicolas Cage) and Mandy Bloom (Andrea Riseborough) lead a loving and peaceful existence, when their pine-scentred haven is savagely destroyed by a cult, led by the sadistic Jeremiah Sand, played by Linus Roache. Red is captapulted into a phantasmagoric journey, filled with bloody vengeance, and laced with fire.

The limited-edition VHS package is exclusive to HMV and includes a DVD, Blu-Ray, Film Poster, Sticker and Bubblegum Card. John Delaney, buying manager at HMV commented:

“There are so many reasons to be excited by ‘Mandy’. Panos Cosmatos has clearly created an incredible film. From the amazing visuals demonstrated by the trailers, to the fact it features one last score Jóhann Jóhannsson produced before his tragic and untimely death earlier this year. Given the 1980s setting & styling of the film, we thought a version with VHS inspired packaging would be the perfect collectable version for fans of ‘Mandy’. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment have produced a beautiful package that stays true to the film itself that will be only at HMV and just in time for Halloween”.
