Jesus Honcho – ‘Infatuated’

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, 19 year old rapper Jesus Honcho has an emotionally charged delivery reminiscent of the likes of Trippie Redd, Rae Sremmurd, and Lil Uzi Vert. His soaring melodies are buoyed up by his positivity, and his song, ‘Infatuated’, has already seen 10 million SoundCloud plays, as well as 4 million on Spotify.

The music video for ‘Infatuated’, the latest track from his EP, ‘7 Vibez’, shows off Jesus’ otherworldly presence, and was co-directed by himself and his collaborator Midas. The clip transitions between various backgrounds, contorting time and space, using a wide range of electronic stimuli. The track is difficult to actually define as rap; Jesus’ vocals are beautifully harmonic, and the beat could see the song easily lending itself to remixing.
