Experimental Artist Damaso Lear Showcases Album ‘Arrival’

Arrival’, an experimental album by Damaso Lear, is a collection of tracks which are essentially an ode to electronic music, albeit with an edgy twist.

Damaso is a completely DIY artist, who has written, recorded, produced, and mastered the entire album himself. Doing this has ensured he retained complete creative control over his work, and ensured his music sounded authentic and personal.

The twelve track album is an ambitous project which on first listen reminds us of David Bowie during his Berlin period. It therefore comes as no surprise to discover Damaso counts among his influences the likes of Iggy Pop, and Klaus Nomi, as well as Gorillaz.
