Pacific – ‘Life In Short’

Manchester band Pacific comprises brothers and songwriters Anthony Orzel (vocals and guitar) and Daniel Orzel (bass guitar, synth, backing vocals), alongside Dave Bithell on guitar, and Drew Burns on drums. Their sound is a blend of alternative, indie, and pop, and they’ve been described as the perfect combination of Elton John and Kasabian.

Pacific have had some success with several singles, and the debut EP from 2015, ‘What Are You Waiting For’. Now they’re back with their new single, ‘Life In Short’, which has already achieved over 120,000 Spotify streams.

The accompanying video has been directed by Sitcom Soldiers, and shows the band in front of a monochrome background. Red flashing lights aid transition between shots. It’s raw and unrefined, with the song’s lyrics imploring their listeners to live life to the fullest:

Life in short/Hold on to something/Take your time/Live with some loving/I can’t stand/All of this running/Claim a spot/Don’t leave with nothing
