Baltimore-born, Virginia-raised and now living in Atlanta, blind rapper NovaCain lost his sight at the age of 18 but certainly hasn’t let it hold him back in the slightest. After a battle with depression he turned to music, and in turn was inspired to make his own.
NovaCain’s latest track, ‘Swag Killin’ Everything’, is a hip hop track with a strong drum and bass underpinning. NovaCain is recounts all the reasons why he’s balling – his swag is literally killing everything, from his shoes to his chains. His laughter at the end suggests it’s a tongue in cheek commentary but nonetheless his confidence gives us the faith to believe him.
