Myles Marcus – ‘Nightmare’

We first met New Jersey artist Myles Marcus back in December last year with his single, ‘Crazy’. He started releasing covers on the internet, and released his first original single, ‘Jump’, the following year. He started collaborating with Roy “Royalty” Hamilton, a world-renowned producer, musician, and former Director of A&R at Capitol Records.

Myles’ latest single, ‘Nightmare’, is a darkly anthemic pop track. His vocals are strong and sweet, and hold well to the slow tempo of the instrumentation. Lyrically it continues with this theme, with Marcus haunted by his dreams, asking “somebody wake me up”. He’s haunted by dreams of his past – “is it real or just a sugar-coated fantasy?” We’re left with the hope that he’s able to escape his demons.

‘Nightmare’ is from Myles’ debut EP, and was released on June 1, and to date has had over 26K plays on SoundCloud alone.

You can find Myles Marcus online on SoundCloud, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and his official website.
