Kevin Tiah – ‘Voices’

We’ve written a number of times about the super talented Kevin Tiah. The Australian artist, based in Sydney, has no consistent touring band, and on his latest single, ‘Voices’, plays, records, and masters every featured instrument.

The track revolves around the concepts of addiction and substance abuse, and how the struggle to break free can take you further down the rabbit hole. The accompanying video, directed by Ben Kalgovas, shows a dark tale of a man’s descent into his addiction, to alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs. Each addiction is depicted by a sinister temptress, causing him to further self-destruction.

The video ends in suspense, with the man coming to the realisation that he alone is responsible for what he chooses to become.
