Naked Congress – ‘In My Room’

Naked Congress started back in 1985, and although they had many offers from record companies, the desire to remain true to themselves meant they stayed independent. Zoom forward to 2018, times have changed, and so has Naked Congress, now the “one man band” of Mazo, aka Magnus Bergentz.

Originally from Malmö, Sweden, but now living in Flensburg, Germany, Mazo is an electronic artist whose voice is as much an instrument as those he uses. ‘In My Room’ is a hauntingly beautiful track in the vein of early 10cc and Queen. Laid back, poignant, melancholy, the track is moving and emotive, drawing a close relationship between the artist and listener.
