Low5 x Reflektor – ‘The Remedy’ Feat. Amanda Joan (Original Mix)

Dutch producer Low5 started out drumming in his basement, before discovering the bass-genre, and deciding in 2013 to produce in this style. The artist from Roermond released ‘The Remedy’, last year, and it’s available as a free download.

Low5 believes good music comes from within, and isn’t just for dancing to, but rather it must also touch your heart. ‘The Remedy’, is side A of a 2 side release which he’s collaborated on with Reflektor, a Vancouver based Drum and Bass three piece.

The track features the dulcet tones of Amanda Joan, and it’d be great to find out some more about her. The instrumentation is upbeat and peppy, with a nice backing vocal underpinnning the synthy pops and gentle percussion. We’ve enjoyed the warp and liquid percussive rhythms in particular. There’s a very pleasing vibe about the entire track, causing this listener to hit replay repeatedly.

Low5 x Reflektor – ‘The Remedy’ Feat. Amanda Joan (Original Mix) is available as a free download. Find out more information about Low5 on his Facebook account. You can also check out Reflektor online on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and their SoundCloud accounts.
