Kick Out The Jams hosted four stages at this year’s Alternative Escape Festival, Brighton, showcasing some of the most promising alt-rock bands in the country. Harry Bullmore checked them out.

Spread across three intimate and enigmatic venues, The Black Lion, The Marlborough Theatre and Shortt’s Bar, Kick Out the Jams provided a glimpse into the future of the music scene.

Up-and-coming artists such as Desert Mountain Tribe, The RPMs, Vito, Lacuna Bloome, Fontaines D.C. and Sisteray supplied amp-ravaging performances that kept crowds coming back over the course of the weekend.
