John Kearney – ‘Scotland’

‘Scotland’, by John Kearney, is a patriotic track about the land of his birth. Sung in a strong Scottish brogue, the passion for his homeland is evident in every word he sings.

Kearney’s vocals are accompanied by a backing of an uptempo drum rhythm, as well as various woodwind and brass instruments. It’s jolly and bright, and Kearney sings with gusto and a great deal of enthusiasm. It’s this enthusiasm which most of all conveys his love for Scotland, and we’re transported to a a Ceilidh, with kilt-clad dancers and pipers filling the room with music and laughter.
