Jazzy Amra – ‘You Got Me’ ft. Wyclef Jean & Riley

Wyclef Jean is known for his ability to spot talent. His latest prodigy is Jazzy Amra, originally from the Bronx, an R&B artist signed to Heads Music. She looks like a mix of Rihanna and Ariana Grande, and sounds like Destiny’s Child.

Jazzy’s first project, ‘Amra’, is set for release this summer, and she’s been touring with her mentor, Wyclef Jean. Jazzy got her musical inspiration from her mother. Her strongest memory is of dancing and singing in front of the mirror. Jazzy’s inspirations, who include Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, La India, among other R&B artists, show in her music. Her songs include strong features which complement her verses, and she’s also collaborated a number of times with Dave East. Jazzy’s latest single, ‘You Got Me’, features Wyclef Jean, and Riley, and is a showcases her to advanage. The video for the track is a seamless contrast of her R&B side with her soft side. The clip opens with Jazzy talking to girls about her man, then pans into a 90s themed video, with soft shots, hard dancing, and of course, incredible fashion. Jazzy’s confidence shows, and the imagery of the clip match the vocals perfectly, giving us a complete picture of who Jazzy Amra is.
