Thorisson Releases Single – ‘New Dawn’

Described as “Avicii with a saxophone”, Thorisson is set to release his latest single, ‘New Dawn’ on May 18.

Inspired by his move from Iceland to England, the artist has always had a love of music, but didn’t take an interest in producing until his teens.

Thorisson first came to the attention of the scene in 2014 with his remix of Sunset & Solid Skill’s track, ‘Alive’. Released with Cloudland Music, it was included in Markus Schulz’s top 10 songs for November that year.

He’s continued to work consistently, releasing new music, and working with Kara Sun on remixes of songs from the likes of George Michael and Arianae Grande.

Thorisson has only recently come to the saxophone, picking up the instrument when he moved to England, and with it, encouraged to change his approach to writing music. ‘New Dawn’ is therefore very aptly named, and marks this change in his musical life.

‘New Dawn’ features singers Olly Tilt, and Tevias Teivajarvi, and will be available on all platforms from May 18, as well as an accompanying music video. You can find Thorisson online on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and SoundCloud.
