STRAIGHT OUTTA CAMDEN – PiL, Maximo Park, PWEI and The Professionals On Bill For This Year’s Camden Rocks Festival

PiL among the acts topping the bill at Camden Rocks

Final line-ups, stage times and venues have been announced for this year’s Camden Rocks festival on Saturday, June 2.

Around 8,000 music fans are expected to descend on the London borough to watch performances by 200 bands, including John Lydon‘s Public Image Ltd, Pop Will Eat Itself, Maximo Park and British Sea Power.

This year, the annual family-run event will be celebrating the 80th birthday of the Electric Ballroom, while the Dublin Castle, will be clocking up 40 years of service to live music.

Late additions to the bill include The Men They Couldn’t Hang, who will playing a one-off acoustic set at Cuban bar, Gabeto – a rare treat for fans more used to seeing them at larger venues.

Other top names on the bill include, Twin Atlantic, Sikth, The Rifles, Mallory Knox, Blood Red Shoes, Echobelly, Beatsteaks, The Professionals, Crazy Town and Hacktivist.

Carl Bârat, of The Libertines, will be DJ-ing set at the Koko after show, while other acts performing include Raging Speedhorn, Danny Goffey, Eliza & The Bear and Missing Andy.
