The festival is now in its 15th year and has become one of Canada’s top showcases for emerging artists, bringing together over 300 artists in more than 25 venues in a 6 day long event. Indie Week Canada (IWCAN) puts industry and artists together, and has enabled many in previous years to make connections, furthering their career.

In addition to artist showcases, Indie Week hosts the Indie 101 Music and Tech Conference, with industry leaders and over 80 speakers, with artists having the opportunity to participate in mentorship, and classroom situations, as well as 1-1 sessions, along with regular industry panels. There is also a Health and Wellness Day.
