Kaleigh – ‘Twisted // Mistake’

Los Angeles based singer songwriter and actress Kaleigh Krause got her start in television commercials and music videos, and is now best known for her roles as Jessica in the hit NBC show, ‘The Good Place’, and Sasha on ABCs ‘Speechless’. Kaleigh is a diverse artist whose talents also include singing, and her latest single, ‘Twisted // Mistake’ is the follow-up to last year’s release, ‘Fading’, and ‘New Perspective’ from 2015.

Growing up in LA, Kaleigh was always going to in entertainment. The only child of Sharon, who owns a hair salon, and Gary, who works in the film industry, Kaleigh was an alumnus of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) and the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) programmes. Through these she was invited to many college campuses while still in High School, including UCSC, Haverford College, and Yale. Kaleigh currently attends college, majoring in English, while maintaining her singing and acting careers, as well as being involved in a variety of community service work. With her singing and acting, she’s been coached by some of the best in the industry.



Twisted // Mistake‘ is a slow ballad style pop track, and was released on March 9, and the song was inspired by heartbreak and the struggle to cope with losing someone who was so important in your everyday life. Kayleigh says:

“The vital part about this song is its message that every emotional storm comes to an end and every person is capable of pulling through the heartbreak. Everyone has strength greater than they realize.”
