Superstar Ace – ‘Wassa Wassa’

Nigeria born hip-hop producer Superstar Ace follows up his hit single ‘Summertime’ ft. Anatii, with new single ‘Wassa Wassa’.

The afrofusion artist, now based in Johannesburg and Lagos, has crafted a new, commercial sound set to make its mark on the South African music scene. However, Superstar Ace has set his sights on success on a far larger scale, saying,

“The African continent is speaking a different language in the music scene. There are more interconnections that are rising, thanks to social media breaking boundaries across the continent and taking music closer to the people.”

The musician is well-travelled, exploring the sights and sounds of a wide variety of countries, and allowing each to influence his own unique voice as a performer. The result, ‘Wassa Wassa’, is an accessible, warm-weather track that swaggers from start to finish.

Wassa Wassa means naughty, and the song reverberates with a cheeky arrogance, as the afrofusion genre flirts with pop, that’s sure to see club floors filled and ticket sales soar.

With this track, Superstar Ace transcends borders between both nations and genres, showing that music doesn’t need labels, only listeners. And, with a track of this calibre, listeners shouldn’t be hard to find.
