John Dredge & The Plinths Are ‘Going Down’ With Lead Track From Debut ‘The Emergency EP’

Short and sweet at just over two minutes long, ‘Going Down’, from John Dredge & The Plinths, is the lead single from their debut release, ‘The Emergency EP’. The album came out on 29 January and is available from all major download sites, as well as Bandcamp.

John Dredge & The Plinths comprise Look-In Magazine authority Dredge, MJ Hibbett (Doctor Doom expert and guitarist), Bob Burgons on bass, and Star Wars enthusiast Andy Harland, on drums. Harland is additionally with Dredge the other half of comedy duo Dredgeland and it should therefore come as no surprise that the accompanying video is gently funny; shot themselves in and around Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London, it follows Dredge wandering about, standing singing, running into walls, and occasionally running – all while wearing an overcoat and a porkpie hat.

‘Going Down’ and ‘The Emergency EP’ is available to stream and download from iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and Bandcamp. You can find John Dredge & The Plinths online on Twitter and Facebook. Check out Dredgeland’s podcast, as well as their Twitter.
