Beca – ‘In Deep Love’

Starting out in NYC where she attended the Juilliard School, Beca is now based in Los Angeles where her new song, ‘In Deep Love’, is proving a slow burn dance club number, conveying a message of hope and comfort in a difficult world.

Beca’s track ‘In Deep Love’, with its disco pop sound, belies her musical talent. Studying at The Juilliard School Beca learned piano, voice, and music composition. She turned however to dance music, and embraced the electronic beats as a means by which to express her complex and conflicting emotions. Beca released two EPs through UK label, This Is Music Ltd, where she worked with the likes of artist Findlay Brown, Producer Morgan Wiley (Midnight Magic), and remixers Ashley Beedle, Night Drive, and Madeaux. She suffered heartbreak however, which facilitated her desire to make a clean break, and so she packed up and moved to Los Angeles.

Since shifting to LA Beca has released her first full length album, ‘Ecliptic’, as well as her new EP, ‘In Deep Love’, which was co-produced by Luxxury, and Fabian Ordorica. The video for the title track was directed by Jayson Martinovich of Bluemilk Images, and is vibrant and colourful, with stark reds, golds and whites filling every part of the screen. The clip is a tale of two loves – Beca in gold, is mourning the loss of her love, whereas red Beca is the future, strong, decisive, and sure of where she’s headed. Dancer Kyle Thomas Shea makes up the third point of the triangle of colour, dressed in white he’s freestyling to the music, perhaps symbolic of the love that must be let go and walked away from.

‘In Deep Love’ is available from Spotify, and iTunes. You can find Beca online on her official website, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram.
