LGBTQ Pop King Reigen Releases Heartfelt Cover of The Cranberries Classic, ‘Dream’

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and producer Reigen recently released a cover of Irish band The Cranberries’ classic song, ‘Dreams’.

The cover, released by the NYC-based LGBTQ Music Vote Nominee, known for creating hook-laden synth-pop numbers, is a very personal song.

Reigen doesn’t try to copy the 90s alternative band –known for their unique sound – he instead puts his own twist on the song making it sound love-struck and heartfelt.

He further explained his song choice:

“My friends Thommy and Cedric asked me to do this song for their wedding and I never thought I’d be sharing it more widely, but they were so sweet about it and here we are… this is a celebration of the love that is all around us’’.

Accompanied by a music video is centred around the simplicity of love in the early stages via snippets of first dates when the electricity is in the air, the song gives a feeling of easiness, warmth and that odd fuzzy feeling of being smitten with someone.

Reigen with his delicate falsetto vocals and his varied blend of influences ranging from new wave, disco, electronica, and modern pop, has gained global attention and only continues to grow.
