Five Drexler – ‘You Are Mine’ And ‘Smokers Section (Where It At)’

Florida native Five Drexler is set to take the rap world by storm. With an eclectic taste which allows him to make hook laden rap hits over and over again, he constantly leaves his fans wanting for more. His two tracks from this year, ‘You Are Mine’, and ‘Smokers Section (Where It At)’ take his influence to the next level with their elevated songwriting.

Five Drexler started his career out of the ashes of drama. Falling asleep in the back seat of a car on the way home from a night out with his friends in St Petersburg, Florida, he woke to the sound of screeching brakes and burning rubber as their car collided with another, killing multiple passengers of both vehicles. That night was the last he saw many of those friends alive. Rather than let it destroy him, Drexler turned his grief into power, and decided to band together with other hip hop artists who were sharing similar ideals and moving towards the same goal. With the help of Dangeruss and General Lee, The Treble Makers rose up from the darkness of his past.

In his own words, Five Drexler’s song, ‘You Are Mine’, is a “twisted modern love story”. It tells a tale of a man showing his feelings to a woman who is never there for him in return. The music and lyrics are by Five Drexler, while the video was produced by David Rollins and Richard Usher from Treble Makers Studios.

‘Smokers Section (Where It At)’, with its video released in September, follows Five Drexler on a journey to find his true love: the elusive “Weed Fairy”. He’s tempted by her and she continues to walk just beyond his reach. He follows her to another plane of existence, where the only truth is that he must follow her to the “smokers section”. She knows “where it at” though, so he follows.
