BRKLYN – ‘I’m On Somethin” feat. Jocelyn Alice

It only takes knowing that EDM duo BRKLYN actually hail from Los Angeles to know they think outside the box. Cameron Alexander and Cody Nadeau combine live instrumentation, cinematic percussion, soaring vocal melodies and fierce synths to create the group’s innovative style. The pair have released many singles from 2015 onwards, but now feel they’ve reached a new peak with their latest single, ‘I’m On Somethin”.

BRKLYNs past singles, including ‘Miracle’, ‘Steal Your Heart’, and ‘Heart Of The City’ have been much loved and remixed and re-released throughout the EDM community, thanks largely in part to their devoted and very active fanbase. With over 205K monthly Sopotify listeners, regular rotation on Sirius XM BPM for the past few months, and club residencies in Las Vegas, San Diego, and Los Angeles, it’s clear BRKLYN has a powerful force behind them. Tritonal also recently featured them on their Sirius Radio podcast, ‘Tritonia’, where they performed a live guest set to thousands of new listeners.

The music video for ‘I’m On Somethin” opens with BRKLYN at a California backstreet party, along with a group of women. The pair had arrived in a vintage yellow Chevy pickup truck, and then the dancing began. With sunset approaching, they all get into the truck and climb up to a rooftop to catch the view. The track features a guest vocal by Jocelyn Alice, who’s signed to The Chainsmokers’ Disruptor/Sony imprint. It’s a song full of positivity, fun times, and good vibes.
