Ryan Brahms – ‘Love Dealer’

Ryan Brahms pulls you in with the first notes of his bass synthesizer, letting the listener know immediately that they’re in for a treat. His music is powerful and mesmerising, with latest single, ‘Love Dealer’ no less so.

The New York singer songwriter has released a very catchy track which is at once humm-able and dance-able and entices the listener to get into the groove. ‘Love Dealer’ has everything, and takes Brahms from a piano balladeer to a modern pop singer, all the while retaining his sophisticated songwriting for which he is known.

The video for ‘Love Dealer’ is as glamorous and sexy as it is dangerous and intriguing, and was made by director David Montoya in Cartagena, Colombia. Brahms is a stranger in town, and inadvertently steals the heart of the beautiful girlfriend of a local heavy. There’s instant chemistry between the pair, and Montoya skilfully obtains provocative shots of them in action. Taking advantage of the location, we’re taken above skyscrapers in Cartagena’s Downtown, while lingering on the alleys and plazas of the Walled City, whose pastel paint and wooden and wrought-iron balconies are as much stars of the clip as the people themselves.

‘Love Dealer’ is available on Apple Music and Amazon. Find out more about Ryan Brahms from his official website.
