Lauta Releases Video For ‘Free Falling’ Remix

Back in April we introduced readers to singer-songwriter Lauta, who after parting from her band, Hollywood FM, released her first solo single, ‘Free Falling’. Now she’s returned with a new video to accompany a striking new drum and bass remix of the track.

‘Free Falling’ was inspired by Lauta’s relocation from Ukraine to Paris as a result of the political unrest in her home country. She said at the time,

“My latest tracks are about rebirth – an exciting new phase which gives the feeling of being in free fall! Sometimes, it’s actually a crisis that makes you who you are. I learned to create everything from scratch, and I feel like I’m living in flight. It’s all a story, building, building, building… and I know that there are no boundaries.”

The video was directed by Victor Bakin, a rising star from BangBang Family productions, and works well with the remix of ‘Free Falling’, featuring Lauta in different settings making good use of light, green screen, and various coloured backgrounds.

The track, which originally took its inspiration from iconic dance anthems, has been enhanced further with pulsating drum and bass rhythms. The thumping beat and repeating percussion ensure ‘Free Falling’ is even catchier than it already was.

‘Free Falling’ is the first track from Lauta’s EP of the same name, set for release later this year. Find Lauta online on Facebook, Instagram, and her official website.
