Fuzzy pop band The Yada Yada Yadas drop debut single.

Recently formed Durham-based alternative rock band The Yada Yada Yadas drop debut track Oceans – via Silent Kid Records – taken from their debut EP ‘Way…No Way’, out in January 2018.

‘Oceans’ – an anti-summer fuzz – with the eccentricity and painful irony of its lyrical content is a love letter and a breakup; all in 3 minutes.

Influenced by bands such as Pavement, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Flaming Lips, the band have truly mastered the craft of writing beautifully silly pop songs and burying them deep beneath piles of dirt, feedback, and uncompromisingly creamy fuzz.

The band – with their Seinfeld inspired name – are obsessed with the idea of letting the listener dig through the messy surface of noise, to discover the simplicity of the pop gem that lies within each track for themselves.

There’s a beauty in opposites and The Yada Yada Yadas are both pragmatic and ethereal, they build and burn, and with ‘ Oceans’ they leave you wanting more.
