Kevin Tiah – ‘Beneath The Sea’

We’ve introduced you to Sydney artist Kevin Tiah a while ago, so you’ll already know he’s a talented multi-instrumentalist, who has covered many genres, including pop punk, R&B, and rap. Now he’s back tackling post-hardcore with his latest track and video, ‘Beneath The Sea’.

Before his romantic piano ballad, ‘Fight For You’, which we covered earlier this year, Kevin was known for his leather vests and shredding on electric guitars, fully immersed in the diehard metalhead lifestyle. So it’s no surprise for this versatile musician to reach back to his roots for ‘Beneath The Sea’.

The video was directed by Timothy May, who was also responsible for the clip for ‘Fight For You’. Kevin is backed by his talented black-clad band, performing in an empty warehouse. the grungy, off-white open space makes it feel like something more than just a band practicing in the garage. Kevin’s voice is a thunderstorm of energy, and his sound takes elements from Metalcore and Pop Punk.
