THE VAMPS DETHRONE ED SHEERAN FROM THE TOP OF THE CHARTS & SCORE THEIR FIRST #1

The Vamps have scored their first #1 in the UK with third album Night & Day seeing off competition from the mighty Ed Sheeran.

Speaking of the chart success, The Vamps thanked their loyal fanbase:

“We are over the moon to get our first #1 album. This is our most personal album to date and the #1 is all credit to our fans, who have been with us since day one. We have such a dedicated team around us too, so we want to thank them and our fans for helping us – we couldn’t be happier!”

Fifteen of the biggest artists in the world have failed to topple Ed including Calvin Harris, Haim, Take That, Drake, Gorillaz and Paramore so it marks an incredible achievement for the young band.

As well as the incredible success in the UK, Night & Day has also stormed straight into the Top 10 on the iTunes chart in over 20 countries including Argentina, Philippines, India and Australia.

The Vamps are Brad Simpson (Vocals, Guitar), James McVey (Guitar), Connor Ball (Bass) and Tristan Evans (Drums).

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
