My Silent Bravery – ‘Got It Going On’

Back in March this year we featured Matt Wade, aka My Silent Bravery, with his song, ‘Face To Face‘. Now the Worcester, Massachusetts native is back, with his new single, ‘Got It Going On’.

Matt has released five studio albums, a remix album, and an acoustic album, and later this year he’ll be releasing his sixth studio album, ‘Willing To Try’, the followup to 2016s ‘Breakthrough’. Matt’s been compared in the past to the likes of John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and Gavin DeGraw, but with this new album, he’s into something new, and the first single, ‘Got It Going On’ comes with a great video.

Directed and produced by Kurt Zendzian at Red Zone Productions, it’s a summer sizzler. Known for his work with heavy duty industry names including Chuck Norris, AWOLNATION, David Duchovny, and Marc Broussard, among others, Zendzian insists that this project has been so far his favourite for 2017.

“Working with Matt was a breath of fresh air. It started with a great song and the music video vision followed quickly. After a few meetings, the team agreed that the video needed to be very quirky and upbeat to match the song. I like to think of the music video of a cross between Macklemore and LMFAO had a baby.”

Opening with some bikini-clad women washing a car, the male protagonist walks his dog, then meeting the ladies at a pool party. It’s innuendo laden, and the track itself has a funky bassline, catchy acoustic guitar riffs, and an infectious hook.
