FALLEN LIGHTS RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘PRICETAG’ PLUS ANNOUNCE TOUR ‘MIND YOUR MIND’ ACROSS IRELAND

Based in the Irish Midlands, quartet Fallen Lights released their debut single, ‘Pricetag’, on Friday 19 May. Produced by Philip Magee, best known for his work with Kodaline, The Script, and The Blizzards, ‘Pricetag’ comes from their 5 track EP, set to come out this Autumn.

An energetic example of Irish Indie Rock, ‘Pricetag’ pulls in the listener right from the start. Fallen Lights lead singer Graham Dowling says of the single,

“it’s supposed to reflect youthful relationships and the inevitable commitment issues everyone deals with.”

Fallen Lights, who have already performed with the likes of Scouting For Girls, Ham Sandwich, KeyWest, The Academic, and The Blizzards, are taking their high energy show on the road this summer, and began a 32 date tour at the end of May, which sees them cover the length and breadth of the entire island of Ireland. All proceeds from the tour will be donated to mental health charity, Inspire.

Fallen Lights released their self titled first EP back in June 2015, and received considerable airplay, remarkable for an unsigned independent act. Their new EP is set to go the same way, if ‘Pricetag’ is anything to go by. With a sound somewhere between that of Kodaline and KeyWest, ‘Pricetag’ is very much radio-ready rock, with a pleasing toe-tapping beat and strong vocals and instrumentation.
