Little Sain✚, who takes his inspiration from a diverse array of musicians and styles, including Bach, Massive Attack, and Nina Simone, got his start at the age of 11, and now makes music and writes, produces, masters, and performs all of his tracks himself, in order to maintain creative control and achieve his ideal vision. Little Sain✚ also bases his conceptual and thought provoking music on his own real life experiences.

All these can be heard on ‘Round And Round’, the remix of which features Genesis Elijah, who adds his own touch of Grime. The track infuses elements such as a strong hip-hop beat, as well as classical piano and saxophone, thus creating a cross-genre tune incorporating trip-hop and jazz. In listening to the track we were reminded of David Bowie’s later music, particularly with respect to the sax.

Little Sain✚ says of the track:
“The remix happened fairly quickly. Genesis Elijah heard it and put his part on it the same day. We didn’t really discuss anything conceptually because he just felt it and knew exactly what to do. When I heard his verse I was really excited because he took the feeling and became the song. I think he raps some really clever lyrics on there too.”
Accompanied by a video created by Dr. Fuckjoy, which consist of more than 5000 digital paintings taken from just one photo of Little Sain✚, ‘Round And Round’ has been released through Halogram Records.
