Frida Sundemo Releases Singles, ‘It’s OK’ and ‘The Sun’

“An uplifting antidote to a bad week” – The Fader

Swedish songstress Frida Sundemo today released two new singles ‘It’s OK’, and ‘The Sun’, through Cosmos Music.

‘It’s OK’ is a bittersweet ballad, leading with icy strings and Frida’s stunning glacial voice among euphoric synths. The single premiered with ‘The Line of Best Fit’ as their ‘Song of The Day’ who dubbed it,

“Her best work to date…’It’s OK’ is a beautiful, magnificent iceberg from Sweden’s Frida Sundemo.”

“The single is uplifting in every sense, with pounding EDM-y choruses underpinning the Gothenburg native’s hope-stuffed vocals.” – Line Of Best Fit

Frida says,

“’It’s OK’ is about making peace with the weak and vulnerable you. It’s about feeling like the loneliest person in the world and accepting that life sometimes feels like your enemy and not your friend. It’s also about feeling more alive than ever, about late nights and early mornings, and the longing for embracing every second of life. Because that’s how life is, high and low, and it’s OK.”

‘The Sun’ is a stark slice of alt-pop, incorporating huge soundscapes of mesmeric orchestration and electronics.
