We Get Ready For ‘Summer Baby’ From Cali De La Rosa

From New Orleans comes Cali De La Rosa and her new track, ‘Summer Baby’, which was released on February 10. Mixed and mastered by Malachi Mott, the Nu Disco track is similar in style to the Kylie Minogue and Lana Del Rey.

‘Summer Baby’ is a laid back, easy-going track with Cali’s rich vocals powering through the up-tempo dance rhythm. It’s a sexy, smokey, sensual sound, with a video shot in a psychedelic style which gives a really 60s quality to the clip.

‘Summer Baby’ just transports you to New Orleans and leaves you there – you don’t mind at all however; you’re caught in Cali’s spell and you’re mesmerised. There’s a lot to remind us of Lana Del Rey’s vocal affectations here, and her sound is a heady mix of pop and soul.

You can find Cali De La Rosa online on her official website, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. You can stream ‘Summer Baby’ on Soundcloud and download it from iTunes.
