Vama Are ‘Ghosts At War’ In Life And Love With New Single

Romanian quintet Vama are known for their incredible live shows and fabulous songwriting, and have been a mainstay on the music scene in their home country. With their latest release, ‘Ghosts At War’, the band is set to make waves around the world.

Comprising Tudor Chirila, Eugen Caminschi, Gelu Ionescu, Lucian Cioarga and Dan Opris, the band from Bucharest have a style that is as much at home in stadiums as in a private party, and remind us of artists such Coldplay, The Killers, and Kings Of Leon. ‘Ghosts At War’ is accompanied by a moving music video, featuring a couple at war – they’ve lost touch with each other and need to address the tension that’s hanging heavily in the house. Great symbolism including the smashing of an iPad, photos of the couple, a prized watch, model car, and the destruction of a string of pearls in a blender – things which have taken precedence in their lives over each other. They confront each other but in stillness and silence are unable to go all the way.

In the end – the pair realise that which matters most to them is each other, and the relationship is restored.

In addition to his work with Vama, lead singer and songwriter Tudor Chirilia is one of the top young cultural leaders in Romania. He’s also an actor and an events producer – and travels tirelessly around the country, connecting with young people, fostering a culture of mentorship for high school students.

You can find out more about Vama online on their official website, Twitter, and Facebook.
