Growing up in Jackson, Mississippi surrounded by the sounds of R&B, Soul, Pop, and the Blues, J-WONN has absorbed plenty about writing killer songs and takes a soulful trip with his latest track, ’24/7′.
His previous releases, ‘Daddy’s Girl’, and ‘Sleep In It’, established his name, and saw him touring all across the Gulf Coast of the US, performing to audiences of all sizes. ’24/7′ is the most recent track from J-WONN’s new album, ‘The Legacy Begins’, which he has released through Advantage Recordings.
’24/7′ is sexy and soulful, with J-WONN’s gorgeous vocals matched by a simple instrumental track featuring horns and hand claps. The accompanying video shows him and his lady love playing to the camera, with him singing about thinking of her 24/7. It’s laid back and casual, with a Southern soul feel to it, making it the perfect make out song.
