Camille Peruto – ‘From The Sea To The Sky’

Singer songwriter Camille Peruto has a good grasp on the music industry, having competed in Season 14 of American Idol, and since then establishing herself on the Philadelphia and New Jersey circuit. Taking her inspiration from the likes of Sara Bareilles and Colbie Calliat, Camille is set to release her album, ‘From The Sea To The Sky’ on January 21.

‘From The Sea To The Sky’ is an album of  high power songs, reminding us initially of the female-fronted anthems by Fleetwood Mac, and the story-telling style of Taylor Swift. Lead single, ‘Crooked Roads’ is the standout track of the album, and prepares us for the remaining ten high quality songs. Camille’s style lies somewhere between pop and rock, with her sweet and pure vocals mostly accompanied simply by acoustic guitar and piano. It’s a laid back album, excellently produced.

‘From The Sea To The Sky’ features Eric Novod on Drums, Joe Parella on Guitar/Machine, Roshane Karunaratne on Piano/Keys, Erik Kase Romero on Bass, and Camille taking Acoustic Guitar, as well as Vocals. The album was produced at Lakehouse Recording Studios, in Ashbury Park, New Jersey, where it was produced and engineered by Erik Kase Romero, and Mixed and Mastered by Tim Pannella.
