Hip-Hop Artists QueenCity Generals Release New Track ‘So Brand New’

With clever wordplay layered over complex beats and horn rhythms, The QueenCity Generals’ new track, ‘So Brand New’ as written with the core belief that everyone has the potential to “be a boss”.

Formed in 2005 in Charlotte, North Carolina, The QueenCity Generals comprise Mark John (aka Tongue), and Joseph Rodriquez (known as Joey Car’mels). Their aim is to restore a soulful sound to hip hop, and to be “the breath of fresh air that true music fans have been longing for.”

QueenCity Generals include among their influences American hip hop duo, Mobb Deep, one of the most critically acclaimed hardcore East Coast hip hop groups.  ‘So Brand New’ is available to stream on Spotify, along with QueenCity Generals’ album, ‘Invasion’.
