‘Power Line’, the latest single from Americana folk singer songwriter David Arn, is the first track from a larger project by the artist, set for release in 2017.

David’s previous two albums, ‘Postmodern Days’, and ‘Walking In Dreamland’ found play on over 85 US and Canadian FM stations, while Arn’s music has found an audience on NPR stations, BBC Radio, and Delta Airlines commercial flights.

Arn is a sophisticated and accomplished songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist, with his music crossing over the line from Americana into poetry, giving him a somewhat unique style, which he cites as being strongly influenced by Leonard Cohen.

‘Power Line’, released in early November, still retains the lyrical style Arn is best known for, but nonetheless takes him in a different direction, with the track taking on a more mainstream folk sound. David’s voice is laidback and easygoing, which belies the song’s lyrical complexity.

The single was mastered and engineered by Andrew Walter, best known for his work with David Bowie, and Coldplay, at Abbey Road Studios. The single also features Toby Wilson, aka The Dobro Doctor, on lead guitar and dobro.
