Pastor Todd Curry, known as Pastor T, is an award winning songwriter and national recording artist, teacher, and national youth co-ordinator. He’s also the newly designated pastor at St Peter, United Church of God, located in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Together with FOCUS, a nationally touring group who won the 2012 Rhythm of Gospel Award for Artist of the Year, Pastor T have released the song, ‘Tear Down The Walls’, which aims to crush the walls that divide everyone – not just physical walls but emotional and spiritual walls too.
Pastor T’s passion and desire is to uplift everyone – no matter what their beliefs, and this mission has inspired him to launch many initiatives that not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk. The video for ‘Tear Down The Walls’ shows the group singing verses which celebrate their common goal – while more and more people are brought in, with the crowd eventually representing people from all walks of life. Todd then comes in with his sledgehammer, imploring everyone to take a turn at tearing down the walls. Although we don’t always meet eye to eye, disagreement should never become hate. In the end, love conquers all.
