Comprising songwriting duo, Matt Hardy and Christy Cantal-Moore, Nashville-based Fine Lost Lines are set to release their debut EP, ‘Wildflowers’, on 25 November.

‘Wildflowers’ was recorded over this past summer with Daniel Rice, best known for his work with The SteelDrivers, and Shawn Williams, who lists in his CV luminaries such as John Legend, Martina McBride, and Keith Urban. Rice shared production duties with Grammy Award winner Rich Adler, who’s work includes songs for Johnny Cash and Neil Young. Adler also mastered the EP.

Fine Lost Lines take inspiration from a wide range of influences, including Linda Ronstadt, Florence And The Machine, Jim Croce, Vampire Weekend, KT Tunstall, Janis Joplin, and Patti Smith. The duo has been playing all over the South East of the USA for the past three years, and seen their popularity increase with an ever growing and enthusiastic audience.

The name, “Fine Lost Lines” illustrates the fusion of the pair’s musical stylings. Matt is from a musical family, whose roots are deep in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, as well as Memphis Tennessee. Christy meanwhile has been performing shows since she was only ten years old, and has embraced a wide variety of genres, from Bluegrass to R&B.

Matt and Christy’s songwriting style is an ebb and flow of diverse inspirations, and the pair make every effort to blend the lines between roots and modern music, the first results of this creative process are the stunning songs on this EP.
