Sultan + Shepard “Love Me Crazy” feat. Gia

Sultan + Shepard

Grammy nominated act Sultan + Shepard first hit the scene with the track, ‘Bring Me Back’, which featured Kreesha Turner’s vocals, and celebrated California life. Now they’re back California-dreaming, with their new track, ‘Love Me Crazy, which showcases the lush singing of Gia, previously best known for her song, ‘Only A Girl’.

The Canadian EDM duo, now based in LA, have taken their various influences – Brian Eno, The Chemical Brothers, and Daft Punk, among others – and merged them together to form their very own style.

‘Love Me Crazy’ is a banging tropical reggae mix of a song, with the flute which permeates the whole song giving it a real feel-good flavour. ‘Love Me Crazy’ is a real summer jam, and its whole feel sets it apart from other dance tracks.

It should come as no surprise then, given the quality of the song, that ‘Love Me Crazy’ is from the Armada Music stable, known for their laidback and trailblazing musical treatments. The video is filmed on location on Venice Beach, carrying on the from the feel of the song, celebrating the boho culture of the area, and taking in every part of it. Watching the video you want to get out to Venice Beach and join the party – truly this is testimony to how good the song is.
