Coinciding with the 20th anniversary celebrations of globally renowned Dim Mak records, ‘I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead’ takes a compelling look into the life and mind of one of dance music’s most hardworking, controversial and captivating characters – Grammy-nominated Steve Aoki.

Premiering at this year’s Tribeca film festival in NYC, and available to watch on the 19th of August 2016, the documentary features cameo appearances from the likes of Diplo, Blink 182’s Travis Barker, & Pete Tong.

The documentary was shot during the making of Steve’s ‘Neon Future’ double album, and follows him on his journey in the lead-up to playing the biggest show of his career at Madison Square Garden, examining the driving force behind his passion. It also centres around his complex and yet loving relationship with his father, the daredevil showman, former Olympian, Benihana Restaurant founder, Rocky Aoki.
