The Essential Weekly Playlist of: Pisi (I Wear* Experiment)

THE ESSENTIAL WEEKLY PLAYLIST

Last week we had the Essential Playlist of Mikk from I Wear* Experiment. This time it’s the turn of bandmate Pisi.

I-Wear-Experiment1

Estonian trio I Wear* Experiment create edgy big banging beats and synths, with more than a touch of Florence And The Machine-like vocals. Their live shows are visually and sonically impeccable.

I W* E have released three EPs, and this year they reached the finals of Eesti Laul, Estonia’s selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest, with the title track from their debut album, ‘Patience’. Watch for our review to come in the next couple of weeks.

Marten Kuningas –  ‘Tagurpidi vaal’
Epic whale song guitars, thin but deep atmosphere at the same time.

Kerli – ‘Blossom’
I like how the song builds up with beautiful and heart breaking melody into big Björkish comforting choir anthem.

Avoid Dave – ‘Dope’
Hottest tune 2016 in Estonia.

Panama – ‘Always’
This will be my wedding’s opening first dance song.

Major Lazer/MØ/DJ Snake – ‘Lean On’
Love this songs quirky dance moves they do in the video.

Iiris – ‘Sapphire’
I like how the gloomy and mystic synth layers are combined with self-irony (cat samples).

A Tribe Called Red – ‘Electric Pow Wow Drum’
A song that gets the dancing beast out of me every time, i LOVE the ethnic choir sample and that heavily stepping beat.

Windy Beach – ‘Salty Wounds’
You just can’t stay still while listening to that groove.
